Adam joined Sister in August 2019. After graduating from Bournemouth University with a BA in Scriptwriting for Television and Film in 2017, Adam started his career working at a film school, coordinating admissions and courses, assistant producing a load of short films and documentaries and managing a youth scheme for the BFI. Outside of his employment, Adam is a performing member of the theatre company Degenerate Fox, an alumni of the Soho Theatre Writers Lab and has been a panellist for London Comedy Film Festival. Rule of thumb is that he is often heard before he is seen.
WHICH TV PROGRAMME/FILM DO YOU WISH YOU'D MADE?
HBO’s Looking (2014-2016), created by Michael Lannan – following a group of gay friends as they live, love and learn in San Francisco. Normalised, diverse, queer representation without any intolerance or tired tropes, just wonderfully authentic characters with a ton of heart that made me feel ‘normal’.
WHICH MOVIE HAVE YOU WATCHED THE MOST TIMES?
Disney’s A Hunchback of Notre Dame, and yes, you better believe I used to run around the living room with a tea towel pretending to be Esmeralda.
WHAT IS YOUR GUILTIEST PLEASURE?
‘Beige tea’ – oven chips, Quorn chicken nuggets, topped with microwave mac and cheese. A good signifier to my housemate’s I am on edge. Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it.
IF YOU WERE TO COME BACK AS A PERSON OR A THING WHO WOULD IT BE?
