Prior to joining SISTER in 2019 Hsinyi was working freelance as a line producer. With over 15 years' experience in the film and television industry, credits include Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s multi-award winning Fleabag, A Very English Scandal and People Just Do Nothing. In 2010 she landed her early production role on UK blockbuster The Inbetweeners. Prior to that she has worked across departments in casting, assistant directing and producing. Being bilingual in Mandarin Hsinyi has worked on a number of award-winning Chinese co-productions such as Florian Gallenberger’s German feature City of War about the Nanjing Massacre, Xiaolu Guo’s She A Chinese and Nick Broomfield’s Ghosts on illegal Chinese immigrants in the UK.
