Chris joined Sister Pictures in January 2017 as an Executive Producer, was promoted to Joint Creative Director of Scripted in 2021, and became Managing Director in 2025. Since joining the company, he has helped shape an ambitious slate of drama, working with some of the UK’s most distinctive writing talent across projects for the BBC, Netflix, ITV and Sky, while playing a key role in the company’s creative direction and growth.
His recent credits include Joe Barton's hit spy thriller Black Doves for Netflix, starring Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw, with a second series currently in production; Dennis Kelly’s acclaimed BBC drama Waiting for the Out; David Ireland's Cold Water for ITV; Charlie Covell's Kaos for Netflix; Better, reuniting him with writers Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley; Ed Sinclair’s BAFTA award-winning Landscapers for Sky; Joe Barton’s Giri/Haji; and the multi award-winning Chernobyl, on which he served as co-executive producer.
Prior to joining Sister Pictures, Chris began his career as a first assistant director before moving into producing. His early credits include series 8, 9 and 10 of Spooks, two of which received BAFTA nominations for Best Drama Series, alongside playwright Lucy Kirkwood’s The Smoke. He also produced the first season of Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley's dystopian drama Humans for Channel 4, later returning as executive producer for the second season.
