Through our investments in emerging, creative businesses, we’re cultivating a collective of independent businesses—built by and for the benefit of creators.

AWA Studios

AWA Studios is a first-of-its-kind comic book and digital media publisher. Led by a team of entertainment and Marvel alumni, AWA has cast aside legacy models of the comic book industry to build a modern multimedia studio—by and for creators.

“AWA incentivizes its creators by giving them ownership of their labor and a stake in AWA. This is a creative business and you can’t succeed without having people who are incentivized to do great work.”

KOKO

Led by founder and CEO Olly Bengough, KOKO is an artistic community and cultural institution with 120 years of history. In the past KOKO has hosted over 500 shows per year, holding an exceptional legacy in helping to launch some of the most important musicians of the modern era from Dua Lipa, Amy Winehouse, Stormzy, Skepta, Dave, H.E.R, Childish Gambino, Brockhampton, Janelle Monae, Halsey and more. KOKO has always been a favourite of the stars and the new KOKO will continue on its mission to support and empower the next generation of musicians - by creating more spaces to artists to play and livestream in the building, supporting talent on the new KOKO Radio station and through the new KOKO Foundation.

"It’s never been more important to support the next generation of artists and storytellers to collaborate, innovate and share their work...[and] it’s this connective power of music and the arts that Olly and his team are harnessing as they develop KOKO into London’s first next generation global entertainment experience.

South of the River

South of the River Pictures produces striking and original scripted comedy and drama with an authored, indie sensibility. They believe that we explore who we are through stories, and that to do so properly we need to hear not just brilliant and well-established voices, but previously unheard ones too. Their aim is to take risks to protect the vision of all those they work with, in order to find and tell unique narratives that have something to say about the world in which we live.
