EXECUTIVE PRODUCER LUCY DYKE JOINS SISTER TO LAUNCH NORTHERN PRODUCTION HUB, NORTHERN SISTER
NORTHERN SISTER WILL FOCUS ON DEVELOPING AND PRODUCING HIGH-END SCRIPTED PROJECTS IN THE REGION
BASED IN MANCHESTER, DYKE IS SET TO STRENGTHEN CREATIVE TIES WITH TALENT IN CITIES INCLUDING LEEDS, LIVERPOOL, NEWCASTLE AND BRADFORD.
Lucy Dyke joins SISTER to launch Northern SISTER as part of the independent content studio co-founded by Jane Featherstone, Stacey Snider and Elisabeth Murdoch.
Led by Dyke, the Manchester based team will focus on developing and producing high-end scripted projects in the region, nurturing new, visionary creators from diverse backgrounds both on and off screen.
Based out of Manchester, Northern SISTER will be well - positioned as a base for SISTER to continue to strengthen existing relationships and collaborations as well as establish new connections with writers, producers and creative talent in other cities, including Leeds, Newcastle, Liverpool, and Bradford.
As well as developing her own projects in the region, Dyke will also continue to work with the teams located in London and LA. Dyke is currently working with Jane Featherstone (Chernobyl, Giri/Haji, Utopia) and SISTER Executive Producer Chris Fry (Chernobyl, Giri/ Haji, Humans) on a number of new scripted projects.
As a freelance producer and exec, Dyke has overseen two seasons of the BBC/AMC co-production The Split for SISTER. Created by Emmy Award winning writer Abi Morgan (Suffragette, The Hour, River) S2 of the legal drama starring Nicola Walker and Stephen Mangan has, the second series, which averaged over 6 million viewers and over 19 million streams, became the third most watched drama series on BBC iPlayer in 2020*. Prior to joining SISTER, Dyke produced Black Mirror for Netflix, and Ripper Street for Amazon.
